Who we are
Exposure Works was founded in early 2023 by Joscha and Jana, who met during their Media Studies (B.A.) degree, both work as filmmakers and hold a Master's in Audiovisual Media (M.Eng.). The company combines digital and analog photography by exposing digital images, including the characteristic perforation, onto analog 35mm black-and-white film using a self-developed film recorder. This turns digital images into high-quality one-of-a-kind pieces. The film recorder and all products were developed and produced by the team itself; every product is individually handcrafted with the desired personalization. The product range includes the Silverscreen series with products such as Pocket, Glow, LED, LED QUAD, LED RGB, Air, Classic and Classic Slim made of acrylic glass, steel, wood and LED components.
