About extrutec
extrutec GmbH, based in Moos on Lake Constance, is a specialist in thermal technology for the aluminium extrusion industry. The company develops, manufactures and installs equipment upstream and downstream of the extrusion press: gas rapid-heating furnaces, induction furnaces, patented inline gas/induction furnaces with hot saw, the electrically heated high-convection furnace (EHKO), billet homogenization and tool furnaces, Taper Quench and profile cooling systems with the patented Alpha Flex Technology. The portfolio is complemented by material storage systems such as vertical magazines, billet transport systems with overhead manipulators and the Eco Shower Unit (ESU), which uses the exhaust heat of the gas furnace for billet preheating and reduces gas consumption by up to 17 percent. In addition to new systems, extrutec offers modernizations, retrofits, power supplies for induction heating as well as service and maintenance. Customers include extrusion plants in Europe, North and South America, Turkey and Scandinavia, including HAI, Hydro, Arconic, Neuman Aluminium and Weseralu.
