About us
Eystruper Feinkost GmbH in Eystrup (Lower Saxony) continues the tradition of the vinegar & mustard factory Ph. Leman founded in 1809. The company produces mustard – including around 20 mustard specialities – vinegar specialities and edible oils. The spirit vinegar is produced using the natural-biological trickling (Fessel) process on beechwood chips, with the vinegar mash trickling over the chips. In the company's own oil mill, built in 1915, rapeseed and mustard seed are cold-pressed; the cold-pressed rapeseed oil is considered a speciality of the house. The products are bottled and inspected personally. The site, with listed facilities such as the steam generator, vinegar factory and oil mill, has its own rail siding. Production of Leman GmbH & Co. KG was discontinued as of 1 July 2024; the website operates under the name Eystruper Feinkost GmbH.
