About FAS Fördertechnik

F.A.S. Fördertechnik-Anlagenbau Schwanheide GmbH develops and manufactures in Schwanheide (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) screw conveyors, trough and tube screw conveyors, screw shafts, screw helices, spirals and special constructions for material flow technology and plant engineering. The value chain covers planning, design with 3D visualisation and as-built measurement, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, maintenance and spare parts service (retroactively back to 1979). Manufacturing is carried out in steel (material groups 1.1, 1.2, 1.3) and stainless steel (material group 8.1 according to CEN ISO/TR 15608), including partially mechanised MAG welding (process 135) up to execution class EXC1 according to EN 1090-2. Alongside modern machinery, conventional equipment for small series and individual parts is also maintained. Customers come from material flow technology, mechanical engineering, plant engineering and steel and metal construction; exports go Europe-wide and occasionally beyond. Around 30 employees work at the Schwanheide site; an ERDF-funded project is digitalising production, material logistics and quality assurance.
