F&D Bohrgesellschaft mbH, based in Munich, specializes in complex surface and underground exploration drilling. Founded in 2024, the company performs diamond core drilling with core barrel diameters PQ, HQ, NQ and BQ to a depth of 1500 m, including inclined drilling up to 45° from vertical and directional drilling. The service portfolio includes, in addition to surface and underground drilling, geotechnical drilling for tunnel, road and railway construction projects as well as supplementary services such as geological documentation, pump tests, borehole surveying and core orientation. The management team brings more than 50 years of experience in the drilling industry, and the drilling foremen have expertise from major drilling campaigns for deposits such as lead-zinc, gold and copper across Europe. Modern drilling rigs and drill rods as well as diamond drill bits from the manufacturers Sandvik and Epiroc are used, with which cores are recovered from hard rocks such as granite, quartz porphyry, diorite, basalt, limestone and marble.
