About F-Energies
F-Energies GmbH is an owner-managed holding company owned by the Frizberg family of entrepreneurs, headquartered in Wildon (Styria). The group comprises Global Hydro Energy GmbH in Niederranna, which as a complete electromechanical supplier for hydropower plants manufactures Kaplan, Pelton and Francis turbines in the power range from 100 kW to 50 MW, and Hereschwerke GmbH with around 170 employees, an industrial service provider for complete electrical engineering solutions in the fields of buildings, industry, infrastructure and energy. Turbine manufacturing takes place at the Niederranna site on the Danube, among other things with 5-axis machining machines and additive manufacturing; the manufacturing processes are digitally supported with 3D CAD. In addition, the group offers its own control and regulation system (HerosControl with SCADA), digital power plant management, remote monitoring, revitalization and hybrid energy concepts. Global Hydro Energy GmbH employs around 300 people worldwide and delivers worldwide.
