About F&S Elektronik Systeme
F&S Elektronik Systeme GmbH is a German manufacturer of embedded computer modules based in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. The company develops and produces system-on-modules in various form factors (OSM, SMARC, PicoCore, efus, PicoCOM, NetDCU), single board computers (armStone) as well as M.2 edge AI accelerator modules based on NXP i.MX processors. In addition, operating system images and software for Linux, QNX, Windows IoT, FreeRTOS and Zephyr as well as extensions such as Secure Boot, over-the-air updates and cloud security are provided. Manufacturing takes place entirely in Stuttgart on modern SMD production lines; every assembly is functionally tested. With around 50 employees, more than 200,000 computer modules are produced per year. More than 50% of the products go into medical applications, as well as industrial automation, transport/commercial vehicles, marine, infrastructure, robotics and IoT/edge AI. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 and guarantees long-term availability of at least 15 years with documented PCN and EOL management.
