Avionics from Buchloe and Ulm

f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS GmbH is an approved production and maintenance organisation for aviation equipment (EASA Part 21G and Part 145) headquartered in Buchloe, Bavaria. The company develops, produces and markets avionics equipment and avionics system solutions in the fields of communication, navigation and display. For general aviation, the product lines TRT800 (Mode S transponders), ATR833 (airborne radios), FSG90/FSG8 (ground radios) as well as displays and traffic advisory systems are offered, which among other things combine Mode A/C, Mode S, ADS-B and FLARM. In parallel, the company realizes custom avionics equipment and subsystems on behalf of system companies such as Airbus Defence and Space, Hensoldt, Lufthansa Technik, Elbit, L3Harris and Thales Alenia Space as well as for public customers such as Eurocontrol and the ESA. These include mission computers, GNSS subsystems for satellite navigation systems such as EGNOS and KASS, and avionics for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Manufacturing, maintenance and sales take place at the company headquarters in Buchloe; all development activities are bundled at the Ulm branch. Sales are made directly to European aircraft manufacturers as well as through a worldwide dealer network.
