About Mosterei Fabelsaft
The Mosterei Fabelsaft of Fabelhof Worpswede GmbH is a family-run contract juicing plant in Worpswede. Customers bring their own fruit – apples, pears, grapes or quinces – which is sorted, cleaned, pressed, heated and bottled into 1-litre bottles on site. Bottling is done in new or customer-supplied bottles with twist-off caps; on request, spices or flavourings such as cinnamon, star anise, vanilla or ginger are added directly to the bottles. The naturally cloudy juice is filtered through various sieves and fine filters and, according to the supplier, keeps for at least two years. In addition to the contract juicing plant, the business operates a self-service farm shop open 24 hours a day with juice creations and the farm's own honey, as well as a farm café. About 6 litres of juice are produced from 10 kg of fruit; the pomace is handed out as animal feed. Appointments can be booked online during the season from September to November.
