About us
Faber Feinkost GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed artisanal business from Bad Kissingen, founded in 1898 by Kaspar Faber as a charcutier and pork butcher's shop and today in its 4th generation. The company combines butchery and kitchen and produces meat, sausage, ham and fine delicacies; the sausage and ham specialties are made using warm meat processing according to traditional artisanal methods. The focus is on freshness, quality and regionality, with regional suppliers and short transport routes. At the main site on Ostring, Faber operated a butchery and delicatessen shop with bistro and restaurant; in addition, there are catering and gift services as well as the FABER24 Smart Stores in Bad Kissingen and Schweinfurt, which are open around the clock. Around 40 % of the electricity demand is covered by the company's own photovoltaic system, and the vehicle fleet has been converted to electric mobility. In 2023, the company celebrated its 125th anniversary and introduced a revised logo.
