About Faber Industrie
Faber Industrie S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of high-pressure gas cylinders and storage accumulators made of alloyed steel and fibre composite materials. Founded in 1969 by Renzo Toffolutti in Cividale del Friuli, the company manufactures seamless steel cylinders using three processes: deep drawing/pressing from steel sheet, closing of seamless tubes, and forging from hot pierced billets. In addition, Faber produces hoop-wound Type 2, fully wound Type 3 and filament-wound Type 4 composite cylinders. The product range spans 1 to 700 litres of water capacity with outer diameters of 100 to 660 mm and working pressures up to 1100 bar. The cylinders are supplied for the diving industry, fire service, beverage industry, CNG and hydrogen storage, medical and industrial gases, as well as cylinder racks, bundles and multi-element containers for trailers. With an annual capacity of nearly one million cylinders, the company exports 65% of its production to over 50 countries.
