About FABO
FABO S.p.A. was founded in Tuscany in 1971 and operates internationally as a manufacturer of self-adhesive tapes, supplying over 40 countries. The company produces unprinted (neutral) and printed adhesive tapes on BOPP and paper backing, including paper adhesive strips in smooth, reinforced and one-side coated versions. Coating is carried out solvent-free with water-based acrylic adhesive as well as with hot-melt adhesive based on SIS styrene block copolymer. For the printing of printed tapes, two flexographic printing processes are used: sandwich printing and reverse-side printing. At its Larciano (PT) site, FABO operates two production facilities as well as an in-house research and development laboratory that develops new adhesive solutions and applications. Thanks to a photovoltaic system and a trigeneration unit, the company generates around 90 % of the electricity it consumes itself. Paper adhesive tapes are FSC® certified (FSC Mix and FSC Recycled).
