About FACO Metalltechnik
FACO Metalltechnik is an owner-managed contract manufacturer and supplier of semi-finished products based in Ennepetal in the Ennepe valley, North Rhine-Westphalia. Founded in 1999, the company manufactures and processes sheet metal, perforated sheets, gratings, meshes and profiles for industry, trades, commerce and the construction sector. Production includes 2D laser cutting with a Mazak Optiplex Nexus 3015 Fiber (working area 1,500 × 3,000 mm, workpiece weight up to 930 kg, sheet thicknesses 0.5–15 mm), laser cutting of square and rectangular tubes, punching technology, bending, roll bending and welding (MIG/MAG, TIG, plasma), spot welding, riveting and pressing, through to the assembly of complete assemblies. Materials processed include structural steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant and wear-resistant steels, spring steel, aluminium, brass, copper and nickel silver; mirror-finish non-ferrous metals can be laser cut burr-free. Surface treatments such as pickling, powder coating, galvanizing, anodizing and polishing are offered via partners. Since 2018, the company has operated the FACO Secure Cage Systems business unit with anti-intrusion partition systems for data centres. Design, prototype construction and logistics concepts round out the service portfolio.

Materials and Processes
Structural steel
Laser cut up to 15 mm sheet thickness, processed particularly productively also in fusion cutting.
Stainless steel
Thin and film-laminated stainless steel up to 8 mm sheet thickness, also with smooth visible edges.
Heat-resistant stainless steel
Processed laser-capably for thermally stressed applications.
Wear-resistant steels
Processed by laser for abrasion-stressed components.
Spring steel
Spring steel sheets are laser cut with contours and holes.
Aluminium
Laser cut up to 6 mm sheet thickness, fast and precise.
Copper
Mirror-finish non-ferrous metals can be cut with the fiber laser without post-processing (up to 6 mm).
Brass
Reflective material, laser cut up to 6 mm sheet thickness.
Nickel silver
Laser cutting is also possible with strongly reflective surfaces.
Perforated sheets, expanded metal, meshes, corrugated gratings, spot-welded mesh
Semi-finished products from the warehouse stock are laser cut with contours or processed into blanks.
