Fähndrich Sport AG

About Fähndrich Sport

Fähndrich Sport is a specialist sports store in Pontresina in the Engadin and positions itself as a competence center for cross-country skiing, biking and outdoor sports. Its offering includes the sale of sports equipment, ski service, bike rental as well as cross-country skiing courses for all levels. The company was founded by Markus Fähndrich, a former Swiss cross-country skier who took part in the 1984 and 1988 Winter Olympic Games and, after his career, opened a sports store and a cross-country ski school. Around two years ago, his daughter Céline Melcher-Fähndrich took over the main store in Pontresina; her husband Gian Duri Melcher serves as deputy managing director and cross-country skiing specialist. A branch in Samedan is scheduled to reopen on 01.12.2026.
