About FAHO
FAHO GmbH, based in Kaufungen near Kassel, develops, manufactures, engineers and services products for fire protection, smoke protection and ventilation technology. The core product is the safety overpressure ventilation system (SÜLA/RDA), which keeps escape and rescue routes such as fire-protected stairwells, fire brigade elevators and rescue tunnels free of smoke in the event of fire. The product range includes in-house developed overpressure fans of the NG 500 to NG 1000 series with flow rates of up to 56,000 m³/h, pressure control valves, smoke extraction dampers, the ARÜ pressure relief element with calcium silicate block and intumescent graphite, control systems, emergency power supplies as well as pressure relief elements and thermally insulated louvre dampers. The fan housings are made of hot-dip galvanised sheet steel to EN ISO 1461, impellers made of cast aluminium. In addition to manufacturing and installation, FAHO offers planning support for building services (TGA) offices, hot smoke tests for system acceptance, commissioning, maintenance and seminars. The company operates nationwide and implements projects ranging from residential buildings to special structures such as high-rise buildings, energy bunkers and waste-to-energy plants.
