Faltenbacher Jalousienbau GmbH & Co. KG is a roller shutter and venetian blind manufacturer founded in 1967 and based in Erbendorf in the Upper Palatinate. Its in-house production covers roller shutters (surface-mounted, wall-integrated, new-build, security, angled and top-mounted shutters), external louvered blinds and external venetian blinds, internal venetian blinds, articulation-arm, conservatory and façade awnings, made-to-measure insect screens, textile interior shading, Fixscreen systems, canopies, window shutters and motorised roller and sectional overhead doors. Production includes metal, wood and plastics processing as well as electrical work; computer-controlled automated machines handle the preparatory work, while final assembly is carried out by hand. Materials used include aluminium (e.g. EN AW-6063 T66, powder-coated), PVC, stainless steel, acrylic glass, ESG and VSG glass, and technical fabrics. Sales channels are the specialist trade as well as the nationwide and international large-project segment; reference projects include, among others, the administrative building of INEOS in Cologne. Around 10,000 m² of production space is available at the headquarters in Erbendorf; a second plant in Oberlosa near Plauen manufactures insect screen systems, basket and conservatory awnings.
