Falu is a specialized machinery manufacturer headquartered in Rüti (ZH), Switzerland. The company develops, manufactures and assembles semi- and fully automatic machines for the production and packaging of cotton swabs and cotton pads, as well as production lines for paper sticks (Paper Sticks, model PRX). The machines are used in the healthcare, beauty/cosmetics and food industries and are in operation in more than 80 countries worldwide. In addition, Falu offers spare parts, maintenance, technical service solutions and machine upgrades as well as customization, for example embossing as well as pad size and design. Design, manufacturing and assembly take place at the Rüti site by specialized technicians. According to the company, the machines achieve a service life of over 40 years in high-volume operation; in 2025 the company celebrated its 60th anniversary.
