About FAMAT Sampling

FAMAT Sampling is a Swiss engineering company that has been designing and manufacturing sampling valves and systems for liquids, powders and slurries since 1974. The company specialises in sterile, safe and contamination-free sampling in the pharmaceutical (including HPAPI and containment), chemical, biotechnology and food industries. At the core is the patented EPT® technology (Expanding Piston Technology), which enables representative samples from pressurised systems without dead space or product residue; the valves are CIP/SIP-capable. In addition to standard and custom valves, FAMAT offers engineering, validation support and integration into process plants as well as after-sales service. Through a worldwide network of more than 40 certified distribution and service partners, the company serves over 500 customers in more than 30 countries. All valves are developed and manufactured in Switzerland and undergo rigorous testing for pressure resistance, cleanability and sterility.
