About Famecha
Famecha GmbH, founded in 1972, is a globally active precision engineering company headquartered in Blieskastel (Saarland). On around 11,000 m² of production space, 200 employees manufacture series and large-series parts by turning and milling. The machining operations comprise sliding-headstock lathes, fixed-headstock lathes, non-cam-controlled rotary-indexing turning automatics as well as CNC machining centers, and are complemented by thermal deburring (TEM), forming processes such as knurling and thread rolling, assembly of assemblies with 40 assembly stations, and an in-house toolmaking department with five grinding machines. 6,000 tonnes of material are processed per year and around 100 million parts are produced. Customers come from automotive, e-mobility, aerospace, rolling bearing technology, mechanical engineering, hydraulics/pneumatics, freight and household appliances. The company is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 and supports customers already constructively in component development.
