About the Familienbrauerei Rogg
The Familienbrauerei Rogg KG is a private brewery founded in 1846 in Lenzkirch in the Black Forest. Its range includes bottom-fermented and top-fermented beers such as Pils, Hell, Dunkel, Rogg's Zipfl, light and dark Hefe-Weizen as well as an organic line with Bio-Landbier, Bio Hefe-Weisse and Bio Natur Radler. In addition to beer production, the family-run business operates a schnapps distillery and has been bottling lemonades since 1969, including contract bottling of the Libella brand. Production takes place in the brewhouse with five brewing systems, which produces 30 hectoliters of beer wort every three hours; bottle filling (6,000 bottles/hour), filtration (25 hl/hour) and keg cleaning (50 kegs/hour) are fully carried out in-house. The company also includes the Brauereigasthof Rogg as its home tavern as well as a range of brewery tours. It supplies the hospitality industry and beverage trade in Germany and in the adjacent Alsace; since 2011 the brewery has been a certified solar brewery with its own wind and solar energy generation.
