The Familienskilift Tanzboden Genossenschaft operates a family ski lift in Ebnat-Kappel in the Toggenburg region, canton of St. Gallen. Its offering includes ski lift operations on the Tanzboden with day and evening operation, TANZBODEN sledding — offered as a regional novelty with specially built sleds including sled rental — as well as night skiing on Thursdays and Fridays. The offering is complemented by a kiosk, the Skistübli with fondue offerings, a free ski bus from Ebnat-Kappel railway station, and additional courses for groups of 10 or more people. The operation is run by a cooperative, managed by a board of directors. After careful review of the economic and climatic conditions as well as feedback from the population, the cooperative is discontinuing lift operations; the cooperative members will decide on further proceedings and the future of the cooperative at the ordinary general meeting on 31 October 2026 in Ebnat-Kappel.
