About FaradaIC Sensors
FaradaIC Sensors GmbH develops and markets miniaturized chip-based oxygen sensors. The company's own MECS-Technology® (Micro-Electro-Chemical-Systems) transfers electrochemical gas measurement cells into wafer-based manufacturing for the first time: a complete electrochemical cell is created on a chip measuring 2 x 2 x 1 millimeters, without liquid electrolyte, with microwatt-low power consumption and wafer-scale manufacturability. The product Faraday-Ox® is a factory-calibrated sensor module with ambient compensation and digital output (UART, I2C) for rapid integration. Application fields include IoT and wearables, food packaging and supply-chain monitoring, medicine and biotechnology, semiconductors and electronics, as well as the glass industry (insulating glass). Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Berlin, the company has R&D sites in Teltow (Germany) and Vrčin (Serbia). In 2022, Faradaic received an EIC Accelerator grant from the EU worth 2.5 million euros.
