About Farben Schmid
Farben Schmid is a wholesale partner for painters, joiners and builders based in Memmingen, in operation since 1933. The company offers a brand-independent full product range from German and European suppliers covering paints, coatings and glazes, coating materials, and accessories for painters, floor layers and plasterers. Services include expert advice on technology, trends and innovations, on-site consultation by the field sales team, assistance with renovations and full thermal insulation, as well as technical problem-solving in the selection of coating materials. Using modern mixing systems, colour shades are mixed in small and large quantities; an in-house shipping operation with its own fleet handles construction site logistics with daily delivery. In addition, an online shop with over 45,000 items, a planner and project service, and banking services via MKB AG are available. Since early 2023, Farben Schmid has been 100 % owned by the MEGA Group (Hamburg, founded 1901), through which the product range and services have been expanded. Locations include Memmingen (Auchstraße 2, with central warehouse) and Sonthofen (Bahnhofstraße 28).
