Farbglashütte Reichenbach GmbH produces coloured glass for the glass and crystal glass industry as well as for glass art and arts and crafts. The product range includes cased colour glass in transparent and opaque versions with over 200 colours, supplied in the form of rods (approx. 350 mm length, approx. 35 mm diameter), hand-drawn sticks (approx. 1 m length, 3–11 mm diameter), granulates in grain sizes K0–K5, frit (Mehl), powder and foil. In addition, coloured casting glass, lampworking glass and custom special colours are produced. The cased colours are processed in symbiosis with crystal glass, for example into coloured crystal glass products; lead crystal and lead-free variants are available. The coefficient of expansion is 96 (+/-2) x 10⁻⁷/K (20–400 °C). From its site in Reichenbach/Oberlausitz in Saxony, the company supplies customers all over the world and can look back on more than 150 years of experience in coloured glass production.
