About FASA
FASA - Fonderie et Ateliers Mécaniques d'Ardon S.A. is a Swiss industrial company that produces castings in iron, steel, bronze and aluminium and subsequently machine-finishes them. Its range of services includes machine casting, structural castings and customer castings according to EN 1561, EN 1563, DIN 1695 (Ni-Hard), EN 13835 (Ni-Resist) and EN 1564 (ADI) as well as refractory and special castings. In its own machine shop, castings are CNC-machined with tolerances in the range of a few microns at piece weights of up to approx. 1.5 t, from one-off pieces to small and medium series. In addition, the company offers pattern making, metalworking, welding and oxy-fuel cutting work, stabilization and painting of components, leak and pressure testing as well as the assembly of partial or complete units and complete machines. Another pillar is the retrofit as well as the overhaul and renovation of high-precision machines of the SIP, DIXI and HAUSER brands. According to the company, FASA is the only Swiss company that manufactures products from A to Z at a single site: from the pattern model via the raw casting to the finished, machined, painted and pre-assembled component. The company was founded in 1875 and is now run by the fourth generation.
