FASTER S.r.l. was founded in 1984 in Ferrara (Italy) and develops and manufactures laboratory and industrial equipment, including Class I, II and III biological safety cabinets, cytostatic safety cabinets, product protection and laminar flow cabinets, laboratory fume hoods, isolator technology, cleanroom technology, H₂O₂ decontamination systems, ultra-low temperature freezers down to -164 °C as well as laboratory furniture. Production takes place in the company's own production hall of over 10,000 m² in Ferrara, including in-house metalworking and powder coating (antibacterial-coated steel enclosures). Materials include stainless steel AISI 304/316, powder-coated steel, aluminium, glass and plastics. Processes regularly operated are metalworking, powder coating, assembly of devices and systems including series production, engineering for custom solutions as well as cleanroom planning. Sectors served include pharmacy, biotechnology, microbiology, chemistry, diagnostics, veterinary medicine, hospitals, reproductive medicine, research, the food and cosmetics industry as well as electronics and semiconductor manufacturing. The company is part of the DASIT Group and serves more than 80 countries through local distribution partners; the German business office FASTER GmbH is located in Emmendingen.
