About Fastree3D
Fastree3D SA is a fabless semiconductor company founded in 2014 as a spin-off of EPFL and TU Delft, headquartered in the EPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne (CH) with a location in Delft (NL). The company designs image sensors for spatial perception (3D vision) for industrial and automotive applications, based on over 20 years of academic research on CMOS image sensors and single-photon detectors. The portfolio comprises more than 15 patents; two European Horizon 2020 projects and one STW research project in the Netherlands are currently underway. As a technology provider for intelligent 3D vision, Fastree3D supports industrial partners with product concept development workshops, feasibility studies and a Hardware Development Kit (HDK). The ten-person team has more than 80 years of experience in IC design and product launches; target industries are automotive, industrial automation/robotics and intralogistics with AGVs and forklifts. The company is a member of Swiss Photonics, the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC) and SPIE.
