Family business for four generations
Favre-Steudler S.A. is a fourth-generation family business based in Biel/Bienne and has been manufacturing industrial springs since 1937. The product range includes compression springs, including versions up to 300 mm in length, tension springs, torsion and form springs, as well as FAST® system springs; custom solutions are produced to drawing or sample. Manufacturing is carried out from spring steel wire on CNC spring coiling machines, with direct production and direct sales from the company's own site. Customers include companies from medical technology, sheet metal processing (ferblanterie), electrical engineering, mechanical and plant engineering, as well as watch industry suppliers. Deliveries are made throughout Switzerland and internationally; thanks to in-house manufacturing, even rush enquiries can be covered with solutions in 24 to 48 hours.
