About Favrobotics
Favrobotics is an agricultural technology company based in Nuremberg with additional locations in Lagos and Osogbo (Nigeria). The team develops and builds autonomous, multifunctional field robots for smallholder farmers, especially in Africa. The product 'Norman' is a solar-powered farming robot that performs plowing, planting and spraying and is operated via a simple mobile user interface. The robots combine robotics, AI and IoT, capture agronomic data for precision farming and, thanks to solar charging, can also be operated in poorly connected, off-grid regions. Access to the technology is provided via a Robot-as-a-Service model (RaaS), in which users pay only for actual usage. The goal is to reduce labor and costs while achieving higher productivity and sustainability in agriculture.
