About FBB

FBB Frischbeton & Baustoff AG is a Swiss building materials producer founded in 1927 and, as a locally rooted family business, one of the central building materials suppliers of the Zurich Oberland. The company produces and supplies all materials for structural construction, including concrete, gravel, rolled asphalt, mastic asphalt, sand-lime brick and brick. The offering is complemented by earthworks and demolition, disposal and recycling of building materials, rail transport as well as the rental of real estate. With its in-house testing laboratory, FBB safeguards the quality of its building materials. In the reprocessing of road surfacing, the company achieves a recycling share of 80 percent thanks to a new technology; for the necessary renewal of the asphalt processing plant in Hinwil, implementation of the planning zone in the Wässeri industrial area is awaited by 2028. For transport, FBB relies, among other things, on two electric Mercedes eActros 600 tractor units.
