FBtec Knoche & Mork GmbH, based in Hagen, manufactures technical springs as well as wire and flat-form bent parts in the dimension range from 0.30 to 40.0 mm to drawing, specification or sample. The product range includes compression springs (cylindrical, conical, double-conical with linear or progressive pitch), extension springs in all loop and special shapes, torsion springs (with legs), wire bent parts such as clips, brackets and hooks as well as flat and leaf springs, which are stamped, laser-cut or etched from spring band steel. Production from prototyping through small to large series is carried out on spring coiling machines and CNC bending machines from Wafios; for flat grinding of the spring ends, grinding machines from Dorn are used; spring production uses machines with electronic measuring, control and sorting functions. The company keeps stock of more than 500 material dimensions in wire and band. In addition, FBtec offers its own toolmaking, design, dimensioning and engineering, prototyping, surface treatments as well as the development and assembly of complete assemblies in small and medium volumes. Customers can be found, among others, in the automotive industry, in locking systems and in multimedia components for consumer electronics.
