About GOETZE® Face Seals
GOETZE®, a brand of Federal-Mogul Friedberg GmbH (Tenneco Group), develops and manufactures mechanical face seals (Face Seals / Duo Cone Seals) for demanding applications in construction and mining machinery, agricultural technology, defense technology, pumps, and tunnel boring machines. The seals are fully developed and produced in-house – from material development and selection through design to production and testing. The size range extends from an outer diameter of 50 mm up to 1.425 mm; the largest cast face seals in the world come from Friedberg. In addition to running gear seals, the portfolio includes piston rings and cylinder liners. For aftermarket customers, the company offers application analyses, custom seal development, prototyping, training, as well as installation and troubleshooting services. Since 2017, the Friedberg plant (Bavaria) has served as the lead plant for large-engine and running gear seals, supplying more than 50 OEMs in over 100 countries.
