About Fehmarn Destillerie

Fehmarn Destillerie GmbH operates a distillery at Hof Johannisberg on the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn. The raw materials for the distillates are grown on the farm's agricultural land, in particular sugar beet, grain and juniper berries, cultivated in a diverse crop rotation. On site, brandies and spirits are distilled, including sugar beet brandy (clear as well as barrel-aged in oak casks), grain brandy and a juniper berry spirit as a North German alternative to gin; the alcohol contents range from 38 to 42 % vol. The products are sold under the Feldler brand through the company's own shop, the farm store and selected retailers such as Edeka, Rewe and Famila, with a focus on the area between Fehmarn and the Bay of Lübeck. The site includes a bar with seating directly at the distillation facility as well as visits from the farm. At the Craft Spirits Berlin Award, Feldler rööv won Gold and Feldler weeten won Silver.
