About Edelhoff Wire
Feindrahtwerk Adolf Edelhoff GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company in Iserlohn, established in 1760, specialising in the manufacture and finishing of fine wire. The product portfolio includes round, flat and square wires made of copper (including Cu-ETP1, Cu-OF1), steel, copper alloys, stainless steel and nickel wrought alloys according to DIN 17743. The wires are finished by hot-dip tinning and electroplated coatings with tin, tin/lead, silver, gold, nickel and copper, including multi-layer coatings with top, intermediate and barrier layers. The production process enables lengths of over 100,000 metres within very tight tolerance ranges. Customers include industrial electronics, automotive, photovoltaics and lighting technology, aerospace, special cable manufacturers as well as piano and grand piano manufacturers. Quality assurance is provided by an in-house analytical laboratory (ICP, HPLC), a metallography laboratory with X-ray analysis, an electroplating laboratory and AI-supported 100% length monitoring. Customers come from more than 50 countries.
