About Felix Solingen
FELIX 1790 SOLINGEN GMBH is one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the world and has been producing high-quality cutlery in Solingen since 1790. The product range includes kitchen knives, Damascus knives, professional and design collections, as well as scissors and accessories for the kitchen, barbecue and herb kitchen. Depending on the model, each knife goes through approximately 45 to 80 work steps, most of which are carried out by hand – including the freehand grinding of the blades by experienced Solingen grinders. Production uses exclusively high-quality raw materials, in particular corrosion-resistant steel with a dense grain flow of the microstructure for high cutting performance and flexibility. Customers are end consumers and specialist retailers; sales are conducted via the company's own online shop (German/English) as well as the factory outlet in Solingen. The manufacturer's products have been awarded, among others, the iF Product Design Award in Gold and the Red Dot Design Award.
