About the Technical Office
Felix Hürlimann, Technisches Büro, Stahlbau und Hochbau is a sole proprietorship technical office founded in 1998 in Bülach in the canton of Zurich, providing CAD constructions and design services for structural steel and building construction as well as all related services. In structural steel, the range of services includes hall construction, apparatus engineering, boiler construction and composite steel construction with all constructions and details; in building construction and civil engineering/reinforced concrete, formwork and reinforcement plans are produced. In glass and façade construction, 3D models with horizontal and vertical sections are designed; in apparatus engineering, among other things, glass furnaces, platforms, railings and flue gas cleaning systems. Work is carried out using a BOCAD 3D CAD system including the glass construction module as well as AutoCAD LT; bills of materials are delivered as BOCAD-ST, PDF or MS-Excel, plan printouts in PDF and DWG formats. Since 2018, the creation of BIM/IFC-based 3D models for detailed static analysis, overviews and tender documents has also been offered. Owner Felix Hürlimann brings 40 years of professional experience in structural steel and building construction, including 27 years in 3D CAD, and is a member of the Stahlbau-Zentrum-Schweiz (SZS).
