About FELLA Maschinenbau
Founded in 1949, FELLA Maschinenbau GmbH is a medium-sized family business in Amorbach with around 50 employees and 3000 square metres of production space. Based on an extensive machine fleet, the company manufactures precision mechanical engineering parts, assemblies, systems and apparatus as one-offs and small series – with a focus on large-scale components such as turned parts up to 4 m in diameter and milled parts with travel paths up to 10 m. The value chain covers machining (turning, milling, drilling), cutting and forming, welding with an ABB welding robot, surface treatment by sandblasting and painting, and assembly including a 20-tonne heavy-duty crane. Materials machined include steel, stainless steel, aluminium, plastics and hardboard/pressed laminates. Customers come from the electrical, textile, food and chemical industries as well as from plant and apparatus engineering and small hydropower. With the DIVE turbine and the FELLAMOVER, FELLA developed its own products for renewable energies; the DIVE turbine was awarded the Bavarian Environmental Award in 2009. The management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

Quality & Certification
Quality is monitored throughout production; on request, parts are measured tactilely with two FARO 6-axis measuring arms and documented with measurement and inspection reports. For welded parts, dye penetrant testing and pressure tests are carried out on request; welded and rotationally symmetrical parts can be balanced statically and dynamically.
