About FEMA
FEMA Federriegel und Maschinenbau GmbH is a metal processing company founded in 1993 and headquartered in Backnang (Baden-Württemberg). It was created through a management buy-out from the more than 100-year-old company Ludwig Beck and took over the spring plunger and assembly manufacturing divisions, which had been part of Beck's production program since 1960. The production program includes standard and special versions of spring plungers and indexing plungers with plunger diameters of 8 to 20 mm and travel distances up to 20 mm, as well as accessories such as nuts, safety chains, key rings and spring plugs. The materials used are steel (raw), galvanized steel and stainless steel 1.4305 (V2A). In addition to catalog products, FEMA manufactures custom-made products to customer specification and complete assemblies. All production takes place exclusively in Germany with modern machinery. The company supplies industries such as mechanical engineering and other areas of metal processing with locking technology and special metal products.
