About Femitec
Femitec GmbH, based in Augsburg-Täfertingen, develops, designs, simulates and implements turnkey automation solutions with heavy fixturing content, in particular complex robotic welding and handling systems. As a technology company operating across all industries, it supports projects from the development phase through feasibility studies and welding trials to fabrication, commissioning, offline programming and maintenance. In contract manufacturing, the company produces welded steel assemblies using fully automated robot production, supplemented by machining and assembly – from prototypes and small series through to large orders. Further services include positioning technology, retrofits, the sale of welding equipment, as well as service and maintenance of industrial robots and welding technology from the manufacturers OTC, KUKA, Yaskawa, Nachi and LORCH, including predictive maintenance and remote service. In addition to hardware, Femitec develops software solutions with machine vision and artificial intelligence and, as a Delfoi sales partner, offers robot simulation and offline programming. Since 2022, Femitec GmbH has been part of the Japanese DAIHEN Corporation.
