About Fensterbau Krauss
Fensterbau Krauss is a Swabian family business in its fourth generation based in Albstadt. Since 1943, the company has manufactured and installed windows in plastic, aluminium, wood and wood-aluminium as well as roof windows, front doors, roller shutters, sun protection and insect protection – as custom manufacturing Made in Germany. The plastic windows and doors are produced in the Schüco LivIng system (PVC-U) on modern machinery at the Albstadt site, including a RAPID cutting saw and a RAPID glazing bead saw with electronic scanning. The customer base includes private individuals for existing and new buildings, architects as well as commercial and public developers. In addition, the company offers energy consulting including energy performance certificates through a certified building energy consultant (HwK) as well as a repair and maintenance service, e.g. for glass repairs, replacement of thermal insulation glazing, roller shutter repairs and seal renewal. In the company's own showroom at the site, customers can view products and gain an insight into production.
