About Feralco Group

Feralco Group was founded in 2000 through the acquisition of the water treatment businesses of Alcan and Laporte in the United Kingdom and has since belonged to the Swedish Mellby Gård Group. The company manufactures high-performance water treatment and process chemicals, including inorganic coagulants such as aluminium sulphate (liquid and solid), polyaluminium chloride (PAC), ferric chloride, other iron and aluminium products, caustic soda, sulphuric acid as well as highly cationic organic polymers and flocculants. With 18 production sites in eight European countries, Feralco supplies municipalities with drinking water and wastewater treatment as well as industries such as food and beverages, leather and textiles, paints and chemicals, and paper and pulp. In addition to its products, the company offers technical advice, jar testing and feasibility studies, on-site trial support, tank inspections and monitoring of plant performance. Products are tailored to the specific application and delivered with short lead times; according to the company, Feralco helps to supply more than 100 million people in Europe with clean drinking water.
