About Fertigbeton von Saldern
Fertigbeton von Saldern GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2004 as a joint venture between Dietrich von Saldern and Holcim (Deutschland) GmbH and belongs to the von Saldern Group. The shareholders are LAFEC Holding GmbH and Holcim (Deutschland) GmbH, each holding 50 percent. Its core business is the production of all ready-mixed concrete grades from C8/10 to C35/45 and their delivery with truck mixers. In addition, climate-friendly, CO2-reduced concrete grades based on CEM III cement with slag sand substitution as well as plant-mixed specialty building materials such as plant-fresh mortar, hydraulically bound base courses (HGT) and self-compacting backfill material (ZFSV) are produced. The portfolio is complemented by a concrete pump service, a building materials trade with sand, gravel and crushed stone, the rental of mortar silos as well as construction site logistics and consulting. The company operates 17 ready-mixed concrete plants in Lower Saxony and Bremen; the delivery area extends from the Dutch border to just outside Hamburg.

Climate-friendly concrete (CO2-reduced)
CO2-reduced concretes in which a substantial share of the cement clinker is substituted with slag sand.
Blast furnace cement with hard coal fly ash (SFA)
Standard binder of the price list for improving the CO2 balance.
Portland cement
Used without fly ash on request for a cement-change surcharge.
Hydraulically bound base course

Nine ready-mixed concrete plants are certified according to the standard of the Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC), including the Celle, Zeven, Horneburg and Bremerhaven plants. Production complies with recognized standards (including DIN EN 1536, ZTV-Ing, ZTV-W, DAfStb); an environmental management handbook with defined environmental protection goals is part of the corporate mission statement.
