Contract manufacturing in its third generation
Fertigungstechnik Müller GmbH from Königsee-Rottenbach in Thuringia produces prismatic and rotationally symmetric products made of steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics using machining processes. Single and series parts are manufactured to order based on technical drawings, part-describing documents or sample templates. CNC lathes with driven tools and tailstock cover diameter ranges from 10 to 300 mm; shaft parts are manufactured up to 700 mm in length. Machining centers with up to 5 axes have travel ranges of 600 x 450 x 425 mm. A focus lies in the machining of sawn blanks as well as cast, sintered and forged raw parts as manual load-in or chuck parts; for certain part families, automated bar loading and pallet feeding are possible. Delivery is made heat-treated, hardened, ground, surface-finished and corrosion-protected, and on request as an assembled component. Customers come from mechanical engineering, the power tool industry, medical technology, automotive engineering, optics, precision mechanics and fluid technology. The company, founded in 1947 and owner-managed as a family business, is run in its third generation by Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Jörg Müller and employs around 30 staff.
