About Fertigungstechnik Scheld
Fertigungstechnik Scheld is a CNC machining company based in Gladenbach-Mornshausen in Central Hesse. Founded in 2005 by Jürgen Scheld, the company with four employees produces prototypes, individual parts, small series and repeat parts based on 3D contour machining. A focus lies on gauge and fixture construction for mould making, model making and gauge building; in addition, the company offers assemblies such as standing tables for trade fair presentations. Production is carried out in aluminium, brass, copper, steel and plastic for customers from the automotive supply industry, mechanical engineering as well as pharma and medical technology. Since October 2020, a fully automated 5-axis machining centre GROB G350a with WASSERMANN pallet storage (44 pallets), PROCAM EMS shop floor control and TRIAG clamping fixtures has been in operation, enabling unmanned night shifts for repeat parts from batch size 1. During the day, production focuses on prototypes and individual parts; with the automation, order volume could approximately be doubled. The investment was subsidised through the IWB-EFRE programme Hesse.
