The FFT Group is a mid-sized company headquartered in Stapelfeld near Hamburg with subsidiaries in Austria and Denmark. For more than 30 years, the company has specialized in technical adhesive tapes, surface protection films and converting. The focus is on individual further processing of self-adhesive materials: die-cutting of shaped die-cut parts, laser cutting, cutting, sawing, laminating and rewinding — from jumbo roll material to the finished end product, in standard formats or as customer-specific custom solutions. Materials processed include, among others, polyester and polyimide tapes (Kapton), high-temperature papers with silicone adhesive, aluminium and copper adhesive tapes for EMC/ESD applications, single- and double-sided foam adhesive tapes based on PE and PVC as well as acrylic and transfer adhesive tapes. As an authorized distributor and converter of manufacturers such as 3M, Lohmann, Novacel, Nitto, Pregis, Scapa and tesa, the FFT Group serves industries such as Automotive, Construction and Engineering, Metal Service Centers, White Goods, the PCB industry and EMS manufacturing as well as Transportation, Printing and Paper, Furniture and Metal Processing. With around 100 employees, extensive warehouse capacities and customer-specific safety stocks, the company ensures flexible and short delivery times. The portfolio also includes product consulting, customer-specific new developments and hand applicator accessories.

Materials and Processes
Polyimide (Kapton)
High-temperature resistant adhesive tapes for masking and covering during soldering and electroplating, also usable above 130 °C.
Polyester tapes
Double-sided adhesive tapes for securing circuit boards, flat ribbon cables and wires in electrical assemblies.
High-temperature resistant paper with silicone adhesive
Covering tapes for protecting contact surfaces of printed circuit boards during wave and reflow soldering.
Aluminium adhesive tapes
Conductive tapes, e.g. 3M 420/425/427, for shielding and heat dissipation.
Copper adhesive tapes
Conductive metal adhesive tapes, e.g. 3M ET1181, for EMC/ESD protection and dissipation of electrostatic charges.
Foam adhesive tapes (PE, PVC)
For sealing, filling, sound insulation and compensating unevenness, available in thicknesses from 0.8 to 15 mm and widths from 4 to 1200 mm.
Acrylic adhesive tapes (3M VHB, Lohmann)
Double-sided high-performance adhesive tapes with high initial and long-term adhesion, e.g. for joining glass elements.
Surface protection films
Self-adhesive protective films, e.g. Glas-Guard Premium (40 μm) and Premium Guard 100 (100 μm), for residue-free protection during processing, storage and transport.
