FHE GASTRO plans, manufactures, supplies and services commercial kitchens and catering facilities for hotels, restaurants, community catering and hospitals. Founded in 1988, the company employs around 180 staff. In its own stainless steel manufactory in Langen near Bregenz (3,300 m²), custom one-off pieces such as cooking ranges, buffets, counters and front-cooking stations are made from 18/10 chrome-nickel steel; powder-coated base units as well as buffets made of granite or brass are also produced. The scope of services includes kitchen planning, layout design, project management, refrigeration technology, beverage dispensing systems (Proline), robotics and software solutions, as well as a 24/7 service with maintenance, repair, spare parts and loaner equipment. Around 1,900 projects are realized annually; the core market is Germany–Austria–Switzerland with exports among others to Croatia, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, France and Italy.
