About fhw-moulds
fhw-moulds GmbH is a specialist in extrusion blow moulding (EBM) based in Bottrop in the Ruhr region. The company supports products from article design through mould design and blow mould manufacturing to process optimisation, machine calibration and maintenance of machines and tools at the customer's site. It manufactures high-quality extrusion blow moulds for all blowable thermoplastics as well as CoEx materials, including In-Mould Labelling. The R&D department comprises article designers, mould makers and CAM engineers; in its own design studio, drafts are developed using 3D printing and laser scanning up to sample production. In-house developments such as the PPR system (Push Pull Ring) for precise wall thickness distribution and the A.G.D. de-flashing system serve process optimisation. In August 2025, the company expanded to India in partnership with XTRUSMART, supported by three service technicians trained in Bottrop.
