About FIBALON

FIBALON GmbH, based in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, is the inventor and manufacturer of the patented polymer fiber filter FIBALON® for swimming pools, pools, whirlpools, aquariums, ponds as well as industrial filtration applications. The natural filter principle of moss serves as a model for the filter technology, whose fine structures were technically replicated in cooperation with the Umweltinstitut Neumarkt as well as universities and colleges. The products consist of a combination of different polymer fibers with ÖKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fibers and, with DyFix® technology, achieve a filtration fineness down to 8 micrometers. The product range includes FIBALON®3D for indoor and outdoor pools, FIBALON®rope, FIBALON®skimmy as a pre-filter, FIBALON®compact as a replacement for 4-inch cartridge filters, FIBALON®plus for aquariums and ponds, FIBALON®EGo³ for whirlpools, as well as solutions for industrial filtration in wastewater treatment plants, coolants and heating water. The company was recognized in 2015 as a lighthouse project by UmweltCluster Bayern e.V. and awarded in 2020/2021 by the Stifterverband für Forschung und Entwicklung.
