Fiedler CNC-Fertigungstechnik e.K. in Wechingen in the Donau-Ries region is an owner-managed contract manufacturer of machined precision parts. The company manufactures on CNC lathes, milling machines and mill-turn machines (3-, 4- and 5-axis), performs die sinking EDM, cylindrical, surface and cross grinding as well as cut-to-size, trovalising and cleaning. Quality assurance is carried out on coordinate measuring machines including first article inspection based on CATIA and other 3D models. Customers come from aerospace (including Airbus Helicopters, Liebherr Aerospace), the electrical industry, automotive and mechanical engineering. On 2,200 sqm of production space, 45 employees work with a machine fleet of around 40 CNC systems and measuring equipment. Founded in 1986, the company is certified to ISO 9001 and EN 9100.

Herbert and Wolfgang Fiedler found Fiedler Maschinenbau in a small workshop at the parental home, with a milling machine and a lathe.
- 1986-2005
Manufacture of more than 100 special-purpose and small-series machines, mainly for grinding carbide inserts for wood planing tools.
- 1998
Move into the first own workshop building in the Wechingen industrial estate; renaming to Fiedler Maschinenbau und CNC-Fertigungstechnik.
- 2002
Expansion of production area from 520 to 720 sqm; initial certification to DIN EN ISO 9001; approval for machining work for Eurocopter Deutschland including first article inspection based on CATIA data.
