FILA Solutions S.p.A. SB is an Italian family-owned company based in San Martino di Lupari (Padua) and has been developing, producing and distributing chemical products for the cleaning, protection and care of surfaces since 1943. The product range includes cleaners, sealers/impregnators, anti-slip treatments as well as solutions for the restoration of marble, natural stone, porcelain, ceramic, terracotta, concrete, wood, glass and other materials. Production is carried out through cold and hot mixing processes at the company's own production centre at its headquarters; a research centre in Fiorano Modenese (Sassuolo ceramic district) and an R&D department with approximately 10% share of revenue drive product development and material analyses. Through the divisions FILA TRADE, FILA PROJECT and FILA TECH, the company serves specialist retail, construction projects and the industrial in-line pre-treatment of ceramic and natural stone. With subsidiaries in Germany, Spain, the USA, France, the United Kingdom and the UAE, FILA reaches customers in over 100 countries; reference projects include, among others, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Harrods and Wimbledon.

The integrated management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 (TÜV Rheinland); approximately 2,500 quality controls are performed annually on 1,000 production batches at the company's own Research Centre. Founded as FILA (Fabbrica Italiana Lucidi ed Affini) by the twins Guido and Pietro Pettenon; production of shoe polish and household cleaners.
